Steve rejoined Michael Allen Company in 2001 after previously being with the firm from 1985-1995. He has led engagements in corporate development, new product assessment and development, acquisition screening and due diligence, business unit planning, and go-to-market strategy. He helped develop the firm's sales effectiveness practice, with an emphasis on healthcare and financial services. He has extensive experience in developing tools to track and project business results, as well as diagnose how to improve them. This enables effective product, channel, and sales strategy development.

Since rejoining the firm, Steve has focused on the medical product and pharmaceutical industries. He helped develop and implement a new local radiopharmaceutical program to address customers' latent needs, increasing ease of use and expanding reach. He recently led projects to develop business expansion and go-to-market strategies for skin and wound care products, addiction therapy treatment, and sleep and antidepressant medications.

Steve was most recently Vice President of Planning at NECX. There, he worked with marketing executives to expand customer reach and sales capacity using electronic commerce. He also helped reorganize the sales organization to increase account penetration and improve productivity.

His other consulting experience includes senior positions with Tillinghast - Towers Perrin and The Alexander Group, where he performed a variety of marketing and sales effectiveness work for medical product and pharmaceutical companies.

Steve has a B.S. in applied economics and an M.B.A. in finance from Cornell University.
