Healthcare Strategy Practice
Since joining Michael Allen Company in 2001, Artak has worked on consulting assignments for leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
Artak has worked on a wide variety of projects, ranging from sales forecasting to market segmentation, physician/consumer targeting, market assessment and territory design, sales force performance evaluation and measurement of promotional response, as well as acquisition opportunity identification.
His areas of proficiency include market structure analysis, patient flow modeling, forecasting, promotional response and sales force performance measurement.
In recent years, Artak's efforts have been focused on helping our pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients understand their markets and make informed strategic choices for their brands or compounds in development. Often, these projects involve applying advanced statistical analysis and modeling techniques to patient level data (syndicated or custom patient charts, APLD, claims data, electronic medical records, etc), as well as integrating data from different and, sometimes, conflicting data sources (primary and secondary).
Artak's marketing strategy work has been concentrated in the following therapeutic areas:
Virology (HIV, HCV, HBV)
Oncology
Crohn's disease
Osteoporosis
Psoriasis
Rheumatoid arthritis
Anemia
Diabetes
Asthma / COPD
Schizophrenia / Bipolar Disorder
Pain (neuropathic and nociceptive)
Insomnia
Artak holds a Masters degree in Economics from Yale University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Franklin and Marshall College.
