Growth Development & Healthcare Strategy Practices
Gary has specialized in business strategy development and marketing/sales planning for 25 years at Michael Allen Company. His expertise is in understanding customer behavior and translating it into market-driven strategic growth plans.
Based on consumer insights, Gary brings extensive marketing and sales effectiveness experience—having successfully completed growth plans for clients in the food, healthcare, travel and lodging, consumer goods, financial services, and transportation industries.
In the course of his work, he has conducted numerous segmentation studies. These projects have used novel segmentation and positioning tools to help translate customer needs into competitively advantaged products and services.
Prior to joining the firm, Gary spent six years at Richardson-Vicks, Inc., where he held a variety of marketing and sales positions in consumer packaged goods. He left RVI as a group marketing manager in charge of established and new product development. Gary holds a B.A. in economics from Colorado College, an M.A. in economics from The University of New Mexico, and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
