Job Description:
Consultants are responsible for client deliverables in their own analytic areas of expertise as well as overall project management, client reporting and supervision of junior staff. Detailed responsibilities can span, shaping the project plan and timelines, structuring data gathering efforts, leading the internal team through analyses, interpreting results, drawing conclusions from the analysis, confirming or refuting project hypotheses, developing recommendations, presenting ideas to clients and creating and delivering final client presentations. Consultants use and assist in the development of proprietary analytics and become in-house experts in problem solving approaches and techniques. They draw on and help others freely to improve team effectiveness and efficiency. Illustrative data modeling/statistical analyses include: creating market sizing models and designing/refining segmentation analysis; profiling of purchase, usage and demand; building predictive models and forecasting; creating patient or segment flow models; designing market mix models and measuring promotional response.
Job Requirements:
Candidates should have an outstanding academic record with an advance degree in marketing, statistics, economics, or finance from a top institution. They should possess a strong analytic and quantitative background with a minimum of five years of work experience at a professional services firm or corporate marketing environment. Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills. They must be able to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally and in writing, work well on teams demonstrating leadership qualities, and handle multiple commitments and frequent deadlines.
Computer literacy is a must; proficiency in MS Office products as well as experience with statistical packages, e.g. SPSS or SAS, is required. Knowledge of advanced analytic methods is also highly desired.
