Michael Allen Company Awarded Best Podium Presentation at 2010 PMSA Conference - August 2010
Irina Popova and David Martin are winners of the PMSA 2010 National Conference Annual Best Podium Presentation award. Their presentation, "A Macroeconomic Impact Analysis — Are Pharmaceuticals Immune from Recession?" was a case study of the impact of the economy on the sales volume of a dozen pharmaceutical brands. Healthcare is often considered to be immune from economic downturns, but the drastic increase in unemployment and the duration of the current economic crisis compelled our careful examination of the impact of this recession on pharmaceuticals.
