Healthcare Strategy Practice

Kevin brings to MAC over 20 years of biotech and pharmaceutical industry experience, leading the practice areas of promotion response, sales force size and structure, managed care analytics, targeting, incentive compensation, and marketing mix optimization to improve the sales and marketing process.  His recently work includes navigating the evolution of biosimilars, measuring and leveraging IDN control, and optimizing uptake of targeted therapies including companion diagnostic tests.

Prior to joining MAC in 2005, Kevin was the Associate Director of Decision Support at Genentech, providing strategic guidance for the Sales and Marketing clients.  While there, Kevin developed innovative processes and techniques to target key physicians and accounts for sales force and other marketing promotion.  He directed various initiatives including promotion response, targeting, sales force sizing, territory design, and market analysis.  Prior to working at Genentech, Kevin spent over 10 years in various positions at GlaxoSmithKline, most recently heading the Promotion Response and Targeting department.

Kevin holds an M.S. in Operations Research and a B.S. in Statistics and Economics from North Carolina State University.  He is a past President of the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association, a group of pharmaceutical industry professionals dedicated to
efficiently meeting society’s pharmaceutical needs through the use of management science.
